Holographic rear projection

This holographic process relies on the use of a specific support Plexiglas with an adhesive holographic film, or a stretched holographic veil, combined with one or more HD projectors broadcasting video on a black background. Highly popular in amusement parks, museums, and exhibitions, this technology creates spectacular and immersive illusions. Depending on your needs, we can supply each element separately or design a fully customized turnkey installation.

The Mobile Holographic System allows you to project large holograms with ease. Easy to install and transport, it is ideal for events, trade shows, and conferences, delivering immediate visual impact without the need for heavy infrastructure.

Holographic adhesive film transforms any window or transparent surface into a projection screen. Discreet and flexible, it allows you to display bright and dynamic content while maintaining the transparency of the surface. A flexible and elegant solution for exhibition spaces.

The Holographic Veil uses a stretched translucent fabric to create floating image projections, visible even at large scale. This spectacular process is particularly popular in artistic scenographies, concerts or museums, to bring immersive aerial illusions to life.

Holographic Rear Projection: Floating Images on a Large Scale

What is Holographic Rear Projection?

Holographic rear projection relies on the use of transparent screens or films positioned between a projector and the audience, allowing an image to be projected from behind (rear projection). The image appears to float in the air, without any visible support, thanks to a diffuse surface or a special transparent film. This creates an immersive illusion, perfect for spectacular visual effects in trade shows, shop windows, or stages.

Visual Advantages & Benefits

With holographic rear projection, you can achieve a luminous display even on large surfaces or in semi-bright environments. The result is more elegant and less intrusive than an opaque screen: the real object or setting remains visible behind or around the projected support. This process also allows the projector to be hidden, for a more refined “magical” effect.

Typical Use Cases and Applications

This type of system is particularly suited for stage sets, exhibitions, museums, artistic events, or trade show booths that seek to create emotion with a large visual surface. It allows you to showcase products, expand a visual brand identity, or create powerful immersion experiences, without the need for a large screen.

What Hologram Studio Offers

At Hologram Studio, we master all the essential parameters of holographic rear projection: choice of holographic film or transparent screen, transparency level, projector calibration, precise optical alignment, and visual content processing. We design custom installations to fit your space, your budget, and your aesthetic objectives. The result: large-scale, spectacular, and subtle holograms that transform your space into a visual stage.
