Holographic installation for APCO Technologies at WNE 2025
Context and Issues
APCO Technologies, a leading Swiss company in high-precision mechanical and electromechanical systems, participated in the World Nuclear Exhibition 2025 at the Paris Expo Center, one of the world’s major events in the nuclear sector.
Their objective: to present a complex product in a clear, modern, and visually impactful way, without transporting equipment or physically replicating the machine.
They aimed to capture the public’s attention, explain the structure of an industrial mechanical bridge, and showcase their technical expertise at a booth brimming with innovation.
Our holographic solution
To meet APCO’s requirements, we conceived a complete holographic fan display of their mechanical bridge as a 3D model, projected onto a holographic propeller. This installation allowed the product to be visualized in a realistic volume, perceptible from a distance and immediately legible to trade fair visitors.
The structure, technical details, and form of the system thus became comprehensible at a glance, in a dynamic and immersive presentation that fully showcased Swiss precision engineering.
The hologram literally floated in the air, as if suspended, creating an illusionary effect that encouraged visitors to stop, observe, ask questions, and remember the product.
What are the results?
This approach allowed APCO to attract more people to its booth while showcasing complex industrial equipment without physical transport or logistical constraints.
The innovation was no longer just explained but shown, perceived, and visually experienced, which facilitated technical discussions and reinforced the brand’s premium image. The hologram became a true focal point, an effective communication tool that made a lasting impression throughout the trade show.
Why holograms work for industry
In a trade show where every booth vies for attention, holography offers a decisive advantage. It makes products or systems that are usually complex to present visible and understandable in just a few seconds.
It can also replace or complement the physical display of a machine, transforming a simple explanation into a memorable experience.
This solution is particularly well-suited to highly technical sectors such as nuclear, engineering, aerospace, transportation, heavy industry, and precision manufacturing, and it addresses a clear trend: showcasing in a new way and making a lasting impression.
